Wow. Sooooo long!

Its been a very very long time since I've posted! Ah I kind of missed it. Since my last post I traveled to Canada and fell in love with Toronto. EVERYONE! and I mean EVERYONE! is getting engaged. (Which kind of makes me happy I'm not because the thrill of the first 30 friends has kind of depleted the novelty of it for me haha but still congrats to everyone!)

I've been unsuccessfully trying to win a pair of floral Doc Martens on ebay for about 6 months now. This one bidder is bidding on both pairs so I jacked up my bids to $250 and they still went over. That drives me insane. You don't need 2 pairs of the same identical boots, girllll! Why devastate me?!

I did manage to score a skirt from the Tracy Feith for Target line. (Anna Sui is the next designer in June! yeah!) I don't own anything pink so I went extreme haha.

(The skirt to the left.. with the millions of flowers. to be worn with a blue j.crew tshirt, my white erin necklace and j.crew boots bc my leg muscles are out of control.)

I also started playing World of Warcraft. I don't know what has gotten over me. I experienced my first game of Disc Golf in the woods which was realllly fun. I don't suck that much but I managed to bring home 5 ticks. Gross. I peeled them off my clothes and burnt them with a match. In the woods I did see some deer and immediately went deer hunting (with my camera of course). I want to go on a Safari!

Fruit picking starts next week with some Strawberry festivals. Some days have already been unbearably hot and so I have already succumbed to the greatness which is Applegates. Speaking of food- Thai dinner last night was amazing. We're always the ONLY ones in that place and the little old lady remembers us and makes up some weird and endearing conversation.

"She is sitting in the sun so beautifully"
'Aw, thanks.'
"Its like she on the beach. I really need someone to clean my windows."
'Aw,yeah.'

haha the menu is followed by a dictionary of all the spices and terms used. (plus its like 5 minutes away from my house) cheap! friendly! yummy!

Todays my moms birthday so what did she ask for? $85 worth of meat, galumpkis and pierogies from the Polish Deli. Along with some other things I got her but come on! $85! It took a half hour for them to slice all the stuff she wanted. I tipped the poor girl I felt so bad.

Some of my other recent acquisitions:

! oh the scandal of these people. Its probably the ONLY Hollywood/Not Really Hollywood Reality TV story I am ever interested in. In Canada I watched this every night to go to bed. So I bought seasons 1-4 and watched them all within the span of a week or so. My gut tells me if I have a girl it will be crazy Alexis and my boy will be zoologist Aaden. I don't know how I feel about all this cheating but I do love both Jon and Kate.

Thank you for $9 skirts that I bought in the first 3 colors. Theyve got 2 pockets, I had to go up a size but if I ever make it down to the beach this summer I will live in these things. I've already pranced around my house in them bc theyre so incredibly comfy with a tshirt/tank and sandals.

These along with another 4 pairs of J.Crew shorts in various colors/lengths. I don't know whats possessing me to buy shorts. i never wear them. Ever.

and a nice cheapo black bag until i fall in love with a designer one. so far the only designer one i love / have / can afford was the foley and corinna city tote i bought last september for myself. its still used everyday and is the perfect size for all my junk i lug around.

First row, behind the devils bench with free all access to the Ice Lounge: free coffe, dessert, drinks, pizza, macaroni, pastas, burgers, steak, wings, chicken fingers, veggies mmm etc.... It was incredible and no doubt the best day of my life, thus far. Line changes, smiles, millions of pictures, eye contact haha and actually just sitting there made my life.

Marie Antoinette!

That hair kept me nice and warm throughout the night. I brought donuts back to my girls at work who had to stay there. Liz didn't even recognize me at the bar later on haha

Trying to get over things!

Well my good ole weird Samsung Upstage phase is over. After two years of about 3-4 replacements, I got so fed up I just decided to order the Blackberry Curve. Hopefully, I'll have better luck with this one. Over the weekend Anthony overslept (nothing new) and didnt come over in time to take me to get Guitar Hero World Tour so he "surprised" me with half of it. (not knowing the drums aren't sold separately, yet) Since he couldn't return it he decided to keep the guitar for himself and buy me the entire band game the following day. If he didn't sleep and feel horrible about having a show, not seeing me etc.. I would have just bought it myself but hey I'm sorry presents are just as good as any haha.

Last night we celebrated his birthday gift and went to see the NY Philharmonic Society. They played Mozart, Bartok and Brahms. The Brahms piece was amazing! The bathrooms were insanely crowded and we were, again, the youngest ones there. We sat in the second row and right in front of this little old man playing violin. He must have been really good and really bored because during half of it he was checking to make sure there were no scratches, burping and looking around not paying any attention. He was the highlight to the Bartok piece for me. NY was rainy, windy and bitter cold so I got to wear my new J.Crew Dana Coat.

And since I havent posted in a while my latest vent: This girl at work constantly pokes at me and makes fat jokes. Now geez really. I am by no means fat and I've told her to please stop two previous times, but come on... Monday she came and was like "I see you've been snacking" and today she comes in and just pokes my stomach and laughs! Is this not insane? Shes terribly rude and I don't trust her one bit. I don't even talk to her and she just comes up to me and pokes my stomach? Gross. People are really gross. This is why I am happier hanging out with Mike and Rich all of the time. haha

i couldnt resist buying this one from ebay. to be worn with skinny jeans, flats and my faux leather bomber jacket.

Adding this belt (or headband) to this dress:

Dress I am wearing to the NY Philharmonic Society / (They're playing Mozart!) It was on clearance $30 instead of $80. I'm going to winterize it with a black turtleneck and tights + my new jacket. Possibly cream turtleneck with colored tights depending on the mood.

I fell in love with this.

Everything is from J.Crew besides the last 2.

NoFX

[swoon]NoFX was an experience. First off, they were hanging out on the corner and no one was even giving them a second glance 45 min before the show. (I admit I was smiling knowing they were so close. weirrrd me!) I'd never seen them live before. It was rough. (i'm a wuss) I managed to stay first row throughout the entire time. I made friends with the nice man next to me who pushed some dude out of the way multiple times. Some disgustingly drunk girl was next to me complaining about how hot it was, how drunk she was, really annoying.. blahblah. Fat Mike even mentioned she shouldnt have anymore. The opening band was rotten. A bunch of girls shaking their asses... even when NoFX played, they ran away from them. Good! That made me enjoy it even moreso.

They played the worst song-choiced-show ever(?) I dont think I noticed. I had fun. My earring got ripped out and I was knocked in the face by said crazy drunk chick repeatedly. I sneezed a good wet sneeze on the boy who left all the bruises on my arms. I wish I had some gnarly disease to give him! (joke. but dude, come on.)

There was a lot of sweat and grossness but the event staff was super nice and high fived me in the middle of the set. About 40 people went flying over my head and suprisingly I didn't get it kicked. I think I am just too old to be doing this. As much fun as I had last night--- I am sooo feeling it today. Thank god I took the day off because I had a feeling it'd be a rough night. I came rolling home at 3am. What a life.

So... after all of that. I give it an A for the band and a C for the openers and crowd. (the heckling was nonstop and not necessary. Dillinger four was great! and the Flatliners were a cute boy band. but come on Shira Girl.. Can anyone take your pink and black outfit seriously?)

So please, NoFX, be friends with me...[/crushes on all of nofx]

First row left me with a lot of bruises. I broke my toe which was absolutely horrendous.

I really do have a huge crush on El Hefe.

For more pictures of my bruises & the band:

Broken toe & battle wounds.. Most of them are located on my chest/ribcage and hips so none of those pictures!

Mixtape Show

Anthony took one look at his ex girlfriend last night and repeatedly yelled "oh no. come on, erin. we're leaving. lets go." and ran to his car before i could see Paulson / and i was actually not HATING my time there. "She has no right being here." and i was driven away to dinner and love. I guess it wasn't a bad trade off in the end.
